Hialeah Pride / AHF Scholarship

We are proud to announce our first Hialeah Pride / AIDS Healthcare Foundation Scholarship recipient Rakia Walker. Rakia graduated from Barbara Goleman Senior High in Hialeah. She will be attending Nova Southeastern University and majoring in Theatre and minoring in Communications.  


The 2019 Scholarship applications went through Safe Schools of South Florida and granted by our non profit

Future Bright Minds.


Scholarship applications are open to Miami Dade Public High School Seniors. 

One scholarship will always be guaranteed to a Hialeah Public school student. 

Open Applications dates are March 1st - May 1st of each calendar year and scholarship recipients will be notified and granted in August of the calendar year.

Hialeah Pride / Lynn Bove Women's Health Iniative


We are very happy to announce the Hialeah Pride /Lynn Bove Women's Health Initiative sponsored by Borinquen Health Care Centers. Lynn Bove a beloved leader and pillar in our community passed away last April to Ovarian Cancer. To keep Lynn's memory alive and still giving back to the community she loved and worked so hard for.


Hialeah Pride has teamed up with Borinquen Health Care to offer those in our community with no health insurance FREE / NO COST women's gynecology exams and labs to early detect women's health issues. Make sure to go the Borinquen tent in the Hialeah Pride Health Zone and get your free voucher.
